Planning your mobile film

• Have a script or a storyboard to help you arrange your thoughts.


• Try to think about the location, time, cast of the film before hand.

Shooting your mobile film

• Camera stability is very important. Use a tripod if you have one. If not work on developing a steady grip.


• Audio is the second most important for your movie. Try using a external microphone if possible.


• It is best to film outside in the sun for best lighting. If you are filming inside then make sure the subject is lit well.


• Shoot in different angles, locations, backgrounds to make each shot visually exciting.

Editing

• You can use iMovie for Mac and Moviemaker for Vista.


• Organise all your shots into different folders and import the best shots into your editing software.


• Make sure you save often.


• Play around with sound, colour, adding visual effects to make your mobile film more exciting.


• Finally export your work as a finished movie.
